From the small coastal town of Bani, Pangasinan, comes this hand-harvested, white, coarse sea salt, where sunshine and gentle winds cause sea water to evaporate from brick-laden flat beds leaving behind sea salt that is naturally white, unwashed, unbleached, unrefined, no iodine added, no anti-caking agent. with all the essential trace minerals from the sea,
Our sea salt farm is in the province of Pangasinan, which literally means 'where salt is made' . We are bounded in the southeast by the Hundred Islands in Alaminos,; northeast by Tondol Beach in Anda and in the northwest byWhite Patar Beach in Bolinao. During high tide, seawater from these pristine bodies of water enter our evaporation ponds. As the salinity of the seawater increases,, seawater is moved from the pond to the brick-laden flat beds. where they are then harvested by hand. The bricks in these flat beds come from century old churches in the northern province of Ilocos. They were carefully laid in the beds, by hand, brick by brick in the early 1960s and remained there ever since..
Inspired by this artisanal technique, we have come up with flavored sea salts as finsihing salts for various dishes. And we are now marketing bottled food products flavored by our sea salt, using only natural and fresh ingredients with no preservatives or artificial flavorings, 100% All Natural.
